CYRIL PAUL AND THE CALYPSO MONARCHS BRING SOUNDS OF CARIBBEAN

The sounds of a Caribbean carnival will warm you up  Cyril Paul and the Calypso Monarchs.

Paul, a native of Trinidad, is a fixture on the Twin Cities music scene. He and his band have played their toe-tapping Calypso melodies and other types of island music, including rumba, bolero, cha-cha and reggae, at a variety of venues.

A graduate of St. John's University in Collegeville, Paul has lived and performed in the Twin Cities for more than 40 years. Currently on the staff of St. Joan of Arc church in Minneapolis, he is working on his third album of Caribbean music.
